Non-immigrant Visa "O-A"
(Retirement Visa)

Once the following documents are obtained, you may submit your application with documents at any Thai Embassy or Consulate eith in Thailand or in your home country.

Qualifications for the Applicant

To obtain a Non-immigrant O-A visa, you need to be the following

 

1. Be 50 years old and above (on the date of submitting an application)

 

2. Not being a person prohibited from entering the Kingdom.

3. Having no criminal record against the security of Thailand and the country of his/her nationality, or the country of his/her residence.

4. Not having prohibitive diseases as indicated in the Ministerial Regulation No. 14 (B.E. 2535) (Leprosy, Tuberculosis (T.B.), Elephantiasis, Drug Addiction, Alcoholism, Third step of Syphilis)

5. Having the nationality of or the residence in the country where his/her application is submitted.

6. Not being allowed to work in Thailand

 

Applicant Documents

 

Passport valid for the next 18 months

 

3 passport photos 4 x 6 cm's

 

3 copies of application forms completed.

 

A personal data form.

 

A copy of your bank satatement showing a balance of 800,000 baht or above (original letter of guarantee from the bank), or original pay slips showing at least 65,000 baht per month or above.

 

Police certificate indicating if you have a criminal record (certificate must be obtained in within 3 months).

 

Medical certificate from any hospital from your country within 3 months, and the check up must test leprosy, tuberculosis, elephantiasis, drug abuse and syphilis stage 3.
