Non-immigrant Visa "B" (Business Visa)
This visa is needed if you wish to work in Thailand, conduct business or undertake investment activities in Thailand. You must apply for this visa at The Royal Thai Embassy/Consulate. If your not in Thailand, it would be best to apply for this in your countries Thai Embassy/Consulate. Once you receive your non-immigrant B visa, you will also need to get a work permit before you can work.
Applicant Documents (If you wish to work in Thailand)
Passport that will be valid for the next 6 months
Passport photo 4 x 6 cm's
Approval letter from The Ministry of Labour (employer to submit WP3 form at The Ministry of Labour)
If you have previously worked in Thailand, you must supply a copy of your previous work permit and tax return.
Evidence of adequate finance 20,000 baht per person and 40,000 baht per family.
Copy of the company's business registration, licence, shareholders list, map of location of company, company profile, details of business operation list of foreign wroker (names, positions and nationalities), balance sheet, value added tax registration, statement of income tax and business tax.
If you are teaching, the additional documents will be needed
Letter of acceptance from institute you are teaching at.
Approval letter from The Office of the Private Education Commission or The Office of the Basic Education Commission.
Resume with qualifications, as in degrees, diplomas or other teaching certificates (qualifications must be certified by your Embassy or Consulate)
Police certificate indicating if you have a criminal record. (must be from your home country)
Applicant Documents (if you wish to conduct business in Thailand)
Passport that will be valid for the next 6 months

Correspondence documents with business partners in Thailand.
Letter of invitation from business partners in Thailand.
Evidence of financial status is the case where applicant is self-employed.
Letter from the applicatant's company stating your position, length of employment and salary.
Copy of the company's business registration, licence, shareholders list, map of location of company, company profile, details of business operation list of foreign wroker (names, positions and nationalities), balance sheet, value added tax registration, statement of income tax and business tax.
Copy of company documents must be signed by Director.
If documents are in foreign language, they may need to be translated into Thai and certified by your Embassy.
