Shopping In Koh Chang

Shopping in Koh Chang can be very limited, but there is always bargains to be bought. There are many shops on the main road a long the beach, with many shops and stalls selling basically the same things. But you can get lucky and find some things unique to Koh Chang, and there is a few places around Koh Chang that you should check out.

Klong Prao Beach has a few little shopping centers surrounded by bars, restaurants, small shops, massage shops, tailors, tour agencies etc. You will find beach gear, nice food and the usual T-shirts that are all over Thailand. It is worth checking out.

Kai Bea Beach is a small beach with a few shops and stall about. You can get your "Koh Chang" T-shirt here. Some of the stalls sell some nice local handicrafts and great souvenirs and cheap prices.

Lonely Beach has a souvenir center in Bangbao Village, which is located south of the beach. It has a good range of beach wear but the prices are a little higher then most places around Koh Chang. Lonely beach has the usual T-shirts and souvenirs which you will also find all over Thailand.

White Sand Beach is probably the best place to shop as it has a bigger range of of beach wear, sunglasses and pretty much everything else. You can find anything you want here and the prices are good. They even have some stalls under aircon which makes it a much more comfortable shopping experiences in humid weather.

Koh Chang is probably not the place to spend most of your shopping time in Thailand, but it is a quite and not so busy as other places in Thailand which suits some people.
