I think Phukets nightlife is the best, Pattaya is too much, Phuket is just wild enough to enjoy. Although it can get too wild at times too, it is still fun.
You can also wake up the next morning and go to a nice beach which is not too far away.
How can you beat Phuket?

Phuket is ok, but too many girls there just after your money.
Bangkok has better quality girls, a lot more good girls who is not just looking for a fat wallet

Although Patpong can be too much for some people. After being here awhile, you learn how to adapt. I think Patong is the best nightlife in Thailand. I am not saying it because of he irls either.
There is a lot of friendly travelers coming through and it is right next to the beach.
How do you beat that?

I think the nightlife is better when there is not too many farangs around. The Thai's seem very well behaved compared to us farangs. I don't know how many times I have seen young farangs abuse random people on the street trying to pick fights.
