what type of massage?? i never had one simply because i never got round to it...but the next time i'm going to make sure i have one.

also is it massage or as in massage parlour/brothel ?

Some places do massage only and others are not much short of a brothel.
You should be able to tell as soon as you see the girls

Most massages are normal massages, if there is good looking girls that are wearing almost nothing, then common sense will tell you it comes with extras.

Massages are great, especially after a long day hiking, shopping or any other physical activities.
You will love it.

Massages are no good, most of the staff are not trained and if done wrong, it can permanently hurt you.

Good point, I have often wondered about that.
Never seen any reports in the press but that doesn't mean it isn't happening

Agree. I heard a case in Australia. There was a girl got neck & shoulder massage at her work and she's paralised.

On the back muscles it is ok. But pressing on someones neck without knowing what you are doing can be a problem, there is so many nerves there that you dont want any damaged.
But a Simple back or foot massage is fine.

The last two massages I got in Thailand, I fell asleep halfway during them both.
I follow local advice in regard to the best places and the ones where it is just a massage and with no happy ending.

I think they are dangerous. I do have them at times, but only go to the good ones. I would never go to the ones on the beach or at markets.
It is better to spend more knowing that you can walk again tomorrow.
