I eat KFC a lot due to it being very close to my apartment. I usually order a zinger burger combo and every now and then I get a burger which some of the chicken is really really stringy.
What causes it? Bad chicken? overcooked chicken? Is it bad for you.

I used to like KFC but only eat it if I am forced to by friends. I only eat the nuggets now to be safe.

I have no had a burger like that yet, sounds like it is extremely over cooked.

When you overcook chicken it gets hard and stringy.

i once bought a burger from kfc and had a look inside, something i never usually do. There was a chicken's head still attached to the breast...

I haven't ate kfc since.

Poor tasting products, ownership by Coca-Cola's wanna-be rival, lousy service and undisclosed protein sources from doubtful concentration camps playing with the gene-pool of what once was a chicken.

Look around, where and how they mass-produce their genetically modified birds. You may never ever step up to their counter in your lifetime

Between the stringy chicken and the ungodly amount of mayo they put on the sandwiches, I've stopped ordering the Zinger burgers, which I used to quite enjoy.
