I had a beef steak at Jeffers today which sell local and import cuts. I was surprised that is was no that bad, not as good as a imported cut but better than the usual rock hard tasteless local cuts.
It was tender and had some color, so what do they do to the steaks to make them tender?

Anyone eaten at Jeffers?

The meat is pounded with a mallet so much it's like mince.

The steaks are not even good, no taste and not real steaks.

The steaks are ok and very eatable, may not be the best steaks but they are not priced as great steaks either. Good value for money if you want a beef steak with some flavor.
