Just a quick explainer, why I sometimes post negatively about trashy places like Pattaya or overpriced tourist-dumps like Phuket, following your news-rebroadcasts:

First, I would like to thank you for the great job you do for the sake of all of us! Posted Image

Then, I need to admit that I am very critical to the biased media and authorities in Thailand, whose competence I often do not see Posted Image

Furthermore, I'm a board veteran for many years and smell self-serving ads from first time posters that just want to generate web-traffic to their site. If we allow this to happen without engaging via questioning, we're downgrading ourselves to a ping-pong ad board and will be flooded with that kind of spam. Posted Image

I had the same urge to communicate with Heat a while ago, when he was the one breaking the news here single-handedly. We did so in a meeting. Posted Image

I'm just a regular guy with little to hide and am happy to broadcast some truth and facts, which I encountered on my many trips during 11 years of residency here. I will always try to deliver credible proof for most of my tipps and hints, my personal blog is full of that.
TAT screwed me personally twice, so they are my best buddies.... Posted Image

I agree.

If a regular member wants to make a recommendation of hotel or services then that is a help to other members and should be encouraged especially if they add pictures.

If someone wants to spam the board by advertising their own product then they should be shown the door.
Or sent a copy of your advertising rates

Cheers Frank, I am hearing you... I am also all for the advancement of this board, no ego here, just a big hearted bastard with some spare time and able to help out.... some will say with too much spare time at the moment ...

An extended kudos goes out to Frank. Agree largely.
