Cool, where's that then, in Kalasin? I'm a beef eater also, but I don't mind pork or chicken either :whistling:

I like the Oishi sushi restaurants, the buffet is great, a bit pricey at 400 or so baht per person.
They are found all over Bangkok, I used to hate sushi and just recently started to like it, so at the moment it is a it of a craze for me.

Plenty of great seafood restaurants in Patong area, but they are a little pricey.
The prices are jacked up, but still cheaper than Oz.

I love Italian food, Bella Napoli is a great Italian restaurant in Asok, I think it is soi 31.
The food is as good as the high end Italian restaurants like Zanotti etc, but not as expensive.
The service is a little slow, but overall is very good.

Seriously
Thailand does not have a good restaurant, the best is really only average on the world scale.

Wine Connection is not really as good as its billed. I think it is overpriced with the food, but if you like a good cheap Australian wine they have a good selection. Much better than the expensive Thai rubbish.
