I was at Big C on Thursday and my Thai friend overhead 2 Thai girls saying they will go to the Saturday rally as they need the 500 baht.
Doesn't this just show that with money, you can buy your voters? Will Thailand's next leader be elected by purchasing votes?

All governments pay in some way.
It might be through tax cuts or certain benefits to get your vote.

Don't need a PM. We have a Monarch.

In Thailand they just do not hide the paying people very well as stated above.
I believe most countries are corrupt and just know how to buy votes by rebates for different things or tax cuts.
Thaksin just hands out cold hard cash and then denies everything. It is how Thailand has operated for many years.
So many politicians get caught doing the shifty almost red handed and they just always flat out deny it, even though the evidence is so obvious.

The red shirt leaders are denying any red shirts were paid, unless I just misunderstood.

What's new, they lie and cheat to get into the headlines. Looks darn stupid to be the paid mob of a criminal and fugitive convict :sarcastic:

Mercenaries for a convicted felon, that's what they are :speak_cool:

I believe you'll find that the 'convicted felon' is playing less and less in the picture. The references and surface propaganda of the closer relationship of these factions continues to misdirect the masses...
