DOn't think you can get a work permit to work in a bar, the wage is not high enough.

I think you should teach English.
Plenty of jobs around and you don't even need to be really good.
Some teachers get paid up to 40,000 per week.

Maybe not in the first year.
The second year with bonuses should get you over 40k

If you want to be a teacher but don't want to put in the hard work, I suggest you aim at teaching kids.
I know a few people who do this and it is piss easy, if you have no experience previously, teaching kids is the way to go.

If you are legal and have all the necessary paperwork and if the school know at least half of the procedures then you can get a work permit and B non-immigrant visa.

I applied for a teaching position at Chaing Mai University. I am an attorney with a juris doctorate. I did not complete my BS because I had to drop out of school to work. Years later I attended law school and received the JD.

I received a telephone call from the English Dept. at CMU and was asked if I have a bachelor's degree. I said no. The lady informed me that without a bachelor's degree I was not qualified. I told her that I had taught seminars in law in the U.S. That was not sufficient.

I really was not surprised. After all, I am in Thailand.

No. No joke at all. A friend suggested I purchase a bachelor's degree online. I don't think it would be worth it.
