working in an bar without work permit can get you expelled of the
country when getting in a raid

Plenty of jobs around and you don't even need to be really good.
Some teachers get paid up to 40,000 per week.

Maybe not in the first year.
The second year with bonuses should get you over 40k

I know a few people who do this and it is piss easy, if you have no experience previously, teaching kids is the way to go.

If you are legal and have all the necessary paperwork and if the school know at least half of the procedures then you can get a work permit and B non-immigrant visa.

I received a telephone call from the English Dept. at CMU and was asked if I have a bachelor's degree. I said no. The lady informed me that without a bachelor's degree I was not qualified. I told her that I had taught seminars in law in the U.S. That was not sufficient.
I really was not surprised. After all, I am in Thailand.
