Pretty easy Ken :whistling: A revered Religion is used to prepare a hoax to benefit the tourism for this temple, which was formerly known as a place for headless Buddhas. So called tour guides are manufacturing legends to back this up.
All temples as restored by the Royal Fine Arts Department are free of charge to visit for anybody :speak_cool:
So I find it highly objectionable to produce or fake something to be then able to charge any fees :chok_mini:

A hoax by drunken archeologists is now the leading reason for the attraction :speak_cool:
Besides that, racist double pricing surfaces along with the planted hoax :morning1:

Well, that is your opinion and you're entitled to it I guess.

Yes Ken, and after many years of decent trips to Ayutthaya, where I guided many visiting friends through the rubble and ruins, I found plenty of places with honest history and no scams with Buddhism as a subject! :speak_cool:
It's kinda shameful, that some dudes resort to hoaxes now and de-value the historic capital and its assets :whistling:

Besides, my tours featured the real historic Ayutthaya - and not the one prepared and arranged for hordes of bus-tourists on an overpriced trip from Bangkok :speak_cool: that's he main difference :biggrin_mini2:

The story sounds good, the tour guides might believe the legend if it is a legend.
Just pay your money and be done with. You lucky they charge 50 baht instead of 500 baht.

Hehe, right - this is not Phuk@, where the wasters roam :morning1: - but the tour guides make up the hoax as a fake legend, there is no reality to this face been lifted off the soil :sarcastic:

Thats what makes Thailand so interesting, if Thailand was too normal (what is normal) then it would be like Singapore, now Singapore is one of the most boring place on earth.
