I would like to go to Khaosan Road on Sunday from Sukhumvit, will the red shirt protest cause me any delay's in getting there?

I think you will know by Saturday afternoon (latest) if this will be a wise trip or not.

It lost so much of it's original flair and glory - a pure profiteering center is left with prices above average :morning1:
Nothing made me want to back there in years now :sarcastic:

Khaosan road can be entertaining if you do not go there often too just watch all the travelers walk past, some of the outdoor street pubs still offer good value for a tourist hot spot.
I would never drink in a bar there as the prices sky rocket, if you want to have a drink, go a few blocks away where prices drop dramatically.

I think it is best avoided.

I would postpone it until next week if you really want to go.
