People like Johnnywish seem to come here to just seek attention, if you look at most of his posts, it is the same stupid negative posting with no substance.
Johnny's life seems to revolve around convincing himself the people around him are not on his level, if you really need to try and put people down around you to do it, you have some serious issues.
I once knew a man like this, lets say he is not with us anymore, you need some help Johnny.
There isn't just only one Mr.Johnny kind of guy in this forum, agree? :whistling:

Songkran is great until you get the really icy cold water poured down your back. That's the time I start throwing ice at people.

Actually, these character traits {of which Johnny reflects} are more common than not amongst Farang residence. Paradox...it is.

Farang presence has ruined the spirit of Songkran.

Depends on what aspect you refer. In my opinion, Songkran is all about having good time during hot steaming day among young people and tourists, although older generation tends to look forward on more traditional way of Songkran (including yourself perhaps). Overall, everyone has a good time. Just only some people take advantage and ruin the spirit of Songkran such as throwing water or putting powder on girls which end up with sexual harassment.

These thoughts didn't exist 20-30 years ago. 'Tis a Western obsession - thinking to much.
