Yes I'm with Firefox
Nothing is quicker than FF and the range of add-ons make it unbeatable.

As more growing savvy folk realize what the Microsoft Empire really has become, the expansion for alternative browsers and operating systems has been apparent.

I use several. My main browsers are either The World Browser or Sleipnir. Maxthon is always good. and if I REALLY want to have fun, Spacetime 3-D is really Posted Image !

IE 8 is not so bad.
I use mostly IE and firfox, firefox can't be beaten with all the plugins they offer.

Firefox is ok, but I much prefer Sleipnir or Maxthon. IE is, for me, hopeless. The World browser is also one of my favorites, and it's the one I use as a "workhorse". I much prefer it to Firefox, which I use very occasionally.

Brian, are you just trying to be different? I have not heard of those browsers before either. What is so good about them?

I'm not trying to be different, but I am curious. I found that Maxthon and The World browsers are both easily understood usage-wise by those familiar with IE & Firefox. Sleipnir, on the other hand, has a few quirks which you have to get used to, but once you do, it works very well. I believe it's the most popular browser in Japan.I've found all of them to be faster and less annoying than Firefox or, especially, IE, which I will use only to download at least one of the others on a new computer so that I can actually get something done! My suggestion to you is to download these, try them for yourself, and if you don't like them, just uninstall them. That way you decide what's so good about them. Space Time is slow loading data, and admittedly a very different type of browser, but once you get used to it, you almost can't live without it. For example, when you pull up a subject on Google, it shows page 1, and, arrayed behind it, it opens all the entries for you so there's no back and forth going on. Really worth while to find an article you want quickly. You can also do things like flip pictures, or view them from different angles. I use that often when I do a Google search, as I find it saves time. It won't hurt you or your computer to take them all for a spin and decde whether you like them or not.
